The Groteflessenwijn.nl team and I met through mutual connections and after having several conversations about where they stand as a business. I started a (re)branding project for them. As their target audience comes to their webshop to buy pricey bottles of wine or champagne, the look and feel of the brand needed to match the game. Not only to make it feel more exclusive, but also because it adds to experience of the buyer to the point where it feels trustworthy. With the webshop being a shopify store, it was
Challenge
They trusted my creative vision and were curious to see what I would come up with, so I got to work. I created three concepts in different styles and color palettes to help them choose a direction. This approach made it much easier to get focused feedback. Once they picked their favorite, it was already very close to what they wanted and only needed some fine-tuning. They decided along the way that it was important for them that the logo consisted the ‘.nl’ as they are a webshop. So I added that despite advising them it isn’t particularly necessary in a logo. Furthermore the process went smoothly thanks to clear communication and presenting a project with a strong sense of direction.
Result
