challenge
The municipality of Breda launched an initiative to encourage young professionals to open their own shops in the city centre. Through Starterswinkels, they offer entrepreneurs the chance to start innovative retail, hospitality, or leisure concepts at half the usual rent. The challenge was to create a visual identity and website that would attract and inspire young entrepreneurs while staying aligned with Breda’s authentic character.
Result
In collaboration with Bravo Studio, I designed a fresh, fitting and no nonsense visual style that speaks directly to the target audience. Playful illustrations add an exploratory and creative touch without feeling childish, while the color palette captures Breda’s local spirit. The bright yellow accent brings energy and makes the design stand out. Resulting in a dynamic, youthful, and approachable identity that perfectly supports the city’s initiative.
